Sustainability at CTMUHB

Cwm Taf Morgannwg (CTM) UHB is committed, from Board level to the shopfloor, to implementing the NHS Wales Decarbonisation Strategic Delivery Plan.
A working group comprising the Executive, Facilities, Innovation, Strategic and Operational Planning and Senior Clinicians will deliver this within a framework provided by the four principles of Sustainable Healthcare:

Food waste collections have diverted 230 tonnes of waste from landfill to anaerobic digestion treatment for electricity generation this year (2020-2021).
